We are pleased to offer two new CR clinics that focus on important subjects: best practices for online dispute resolution and mediations for divorcing partners. Our core trainings, The Basics of Mediation and Beyond the Basics, are scheduled in October.
CONFLICT RESOLUTION CLINICS
Root Causes of Workplace Conflict
October 18: Brittny Bottorff & Matthew Cahill | 5:30-7:30 pm PDT | Via Zoom
Through active engagement and participation, Brittny and Matthew will explore how these root causes can be addressed by employers and mediators to best mitigate workplace conflict and allow employees to thrive in a harmonious work environment. Workshop participants are encouraged to bring a current or recent workplace conflict to share for applying the tools learned during the workshop to real-life conflict situations. Mediating Disputes for People Living with HIV/AIDS & Chronic Illnesses
November 15: Stephen M. Spano | 5:30-7:30 pm PST | Via Zoom
People living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHIVA) are disproportionately affected by socioeconomic factors and trauma. Despite a dedicated network of services, they can face extreme challenges to care that affect their positive health outcomes. In disputes where these services are at issue, they’re unable to show up with equal bargaining power. This workshop will explore the practical aspects of how mediation can help. Beyond the Basics
October 29-30 | 9:30am-6:00pm PDT | Via Zoom
Beyond the Basics is the next step in building the skills you learned in The Basics of Mediation or other 40-hour trainings. A two-day training, Beyond is highly recommended for mediators interested in expanding and enhancing their skill sets. It is also an excellent opportunity for seasoned, experienced mediators wanting to rejuvenate their skills and practices. Learn more & register here.
