Neighborhood Mediation

We have all experienced conflicts in our communities, from problems with neighbors or landlords, tenants or families that cause us stress and can even escalate. Mediation is a way to solve our problems together with the help of trained, neutral mediators who help everyone be heard and come up with mutually satisfying solutions.

Our Neighborhood Mediation Program is a proven and valuable way to avoid the costs of courts, police involvement and stresses of ongoing conflict.  Community Boards is very proud that it is recognized as the first community mediation program in the U.S.

Neighborhood mediations cost $15 to open a case, with no charge for the mediation itself.  If you can’t afford this case opening fee, no one turned away for lack of funds.   We do ask for donations.

Have questions? Telephone us at (415) 920-3820 to discuss your issue, or complete and submit the online form at the bottom of this page.
